I was born in SENNAR (city), Sudan; I started my basic education in Omdurman, Sudan, I went to Primary, Intermediate and Higher Secondary Schools at Ombadda (locality) and Omdurman (city): Primary at Elhara-12 primary school, Intermediate at Elhara-11 intermediate school and finally Secondary at Almotamar higher secondary school. In the University level I went to Sudan University of Science and Technology (SUST) and I got B. Sc. degree in Physics Science (first class-honor) (2001). And in the graduate level I got M. Sc. degree in Solid State Physics obtained from SUST (2007), afterwards, I got a Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) degree in Basic Space Science obtained from the African Regional Center for Space Science and Technology Education-in English (ARCSSTE-E) at Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile Ife, Nigeria (2010). I finally got the doctor of Science (D. Sc.) degree in Space Earth and Planetary Sciences obtained from Kyushu University, Japan (2013). I’m interested in research topics on geomagnetic pulsations, particularly in the Pc 5 range; moreover, I am also interested in studying the impact of space weather in our national power grid sector.
